Chris Stanaszak

Hello – My name is Chris.  I have been practicing as a Mental Health Therapist since 2001. I am also a ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. My areas of interest are working with youth, teens, couples, and families.  When possible, I strive to include all family members as we are impacted and impact those around us.  Another area of interest is working with parents to find a “good fit” in working with their child and identifying ways of improving the parent/child relationship.  Another area in which I have extensive experience is working with youth with ADHD.

In my spare time, I love riding my motorcycle and taking extended trips over the summer.  I also continue playing indoor and outdoor soccer.

Jenny Mott

Hi, my name is Jennifer Mott, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Sherman Counseling. As a therapist, my clinical interests are deeply rooted in understanding and supporting individuals across various stages of life. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals of diverse populations and ages. I was a middle school counselor for 18 years and specialize in teens, anxiety, depression, couples, and trauma.

In my clinical approach, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT to empower clients in challenging negative thoughts and aligning actions with their values. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to empower individuals to make change in their lives. I am very laid back and have a great sense of humor.

Kristine Sack

Hi, my name is Kristine Sack, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Sherman Counseling. My goal as a counselor is to meet clients where they are in life, understand what brought them into counseling, and create a client-centered plan to move forward, whatever their goals may be. To move forward with clients, I draw from a variety of techniques and interventions including evidence-based trauma treatments, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as specific therapies for substance use, older adults and their family caregivers, adolescents and LGBTQ+ clients.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and my master’s degree in Community Counseling from Lakeland University in 2011.

I look forward to the privilege of working with clients move from where they are to where they want to be!
